Welcome. I am glad you’re here. This site, and my book, are about exploring and achieving a healthy lifestyle. Health and wellness are not something you achieve and then simply shelve. Whatever your current health state, wellness is an iterative, on-going process that encompasses not only diet and exercise, but also deliberate focus on your mental and spiritual well-being.

My own personal health journey through cancer initially led me here, but I believe what I’ve learned over many years can help whether you are experiencing or recovering from cancer, have a recent illness diagnosis, or are simply seeking a path to optimal health and well-being.

In 2014,

I was out of shape, not exercising, and stressed out with poor eating habits when I received the news:

The purpose of this site is to encourage you on your journey- including the deliberateness of each step, being present, and acting with intent. Whether you’ve just begun, you wish to take your health to the next level, or are searching for a path to healing, I encourage you to begin with my book From Doctor to Patient: Healing Cancer through Mind, Body and Spirit. It provides my own personal experience from an unhealthy lifestyle and cancer diagnosis to currently living my healthiest, best self in complete remission.
