To improve your health, you don’t have to make a bunch of changes at one time. Start with small improvements that are sustainable. If you do not normally exercise, try going for a walk around the block once a week. Once you have established that routine, you will find it easier to add to the frequency of your walks.

Dietary changes seem to be the hardest for us to stick to. Make small improvements like adding a serving of vegetables to your meals. It’s harder to restrict your diet than it is to add something to it. You are likely to notice that adding a serving of vegetables or fruit to your meal will encourage you to eat less of other foods.

Little by little positive changes can be made to your health. Any improvement, no matter how small, to your health is something to be celebrated. We often think that it’s all or nothing when it comes to diet and exercise, but that is not the case. Making simple small changes can drastically improve your health in the long run.
